Gratitude - The Heavens Declare the Glory of God

Not a lot of words. Still in awe. Using this space to express gratitude for an incredible night. "Treasuring up all these things, pondering them in my heart"..."running over". The unharvested cotton field?!?! (see previous post). It's mid November! The company. The conversation. A trusted friend who finds herself at a similar place in life. Our questions to the Lord. Our longings. And then the incredible beauty created by our Father in Heaven. How we even ended up finding the cotton field?? It was not the plan. The church sign at the end. ("Evergreen" - Jeremiah 17:7&8, Ezekiel 47:12- both sides of the river) It's a beautiful story He continues to write. He knows our hearts. He knows yours. He sees you! Continue to be honest before Him and then wait as He wraps you up in "the abundance of His steadfast love" - Lam 3:32. Thank you Father for such a beautiful evening. As I turned onto my street coming home from chasing the lights, a shooting star burst across the sky and was visible from the top of my windshield across to the bottom. "The heavens declare the glory of God" - Psalm 19. So abundant. So thankful. This song on the radio this morning. If you haven't heard it go listen!!!

"Take my heart and let it move In spirit and in truth For the glory of Your name

With every breath that's in me With every song and melody Let it be a hallelujah" - Lauren Daigle

We saw aurora borealis in Alabama!!! The best I've ever seen! With a cotton field!!!! The heart-shape that formed over the water...the red flowing over the white...incredible. "That your heart even matters to God is one of the greatest, most hopeful turns of faith that can come into your life." - John Eldredge  Thank You!! - another great song!

* These images are mostly straight out of my camera. I actually unprocessed what I posted on social media because they were beautiful the way they were. The lights could be seen without a camera. The few over the water I literally just raised the exposure a stop (which if I'd shot perfectly I would not have had to do). The cotton field landscape I toned down the highlights from our phone lights on the cotton. The portrait frame of cotton, I enhanced the sky clarity. The bridge...it's processed, not a composite at all, but processed. The lighting and the sky and all the things definitely a challenge to see the northern lights among all the other lights of Florence without the help of a computer. The aurora were there, and the bridges to Florence are beautiful at night!!
