     Births are my absolute favorite moments to capture on camera. In addition to being a photographer, I spent 5 years working as a night shift nurse at ECM on the 4th floor Women's Pavilion (post partum). I loved my job as a nurse, love my job as a photographer, however just recently I have given up my job as a nurse at the hospital to focus more on photography. I am also a member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (www.birthphotography.com). Feel free to check out their website as well. It is a place where birth photographers can share ideas, gain support, education, and form sense of community among birth photographer professionals. I am extremely comfortable in the delivery room and there is nothing like being present for a birth, capturing the miracle of new life, and preserving those memories for you and your family.

   Birth sessions are very unpredictable and do not always go according to planned.  Rather than discuss all of the details here, please text or call (256) 335-9544, send an email to [email protected], or message me from my facebook page here to set up a consult. Consults before delivery are a great thing if possible. I want to meet you, discuss your birth plan, and answer any questions you may have. Signing paperwork is still possible through email if meeting isn't an option. We can also discuss any questions you may have over the phone.
