Birth is a beautiful miracle that deserves your complete attention in the moment. You should not be distracted trying to capture the moment yourself or depend on a family member. Births are my absolute favorite moments to capture on camera. I do not charge a session fee for birth photography sessions. In addition to being a photographer, I spent 5 years working as a night shift nurse at ECM on the 4th floor Women's Pavilion (post partum) before transitioning to a new nursing position. I am also a member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (www.birthphotography.com). Check out their website as well. I am extremely comfortable in the delivery room and there is nothing like being present for a birth, capturing the miracle of new life, and preserving those memories for you and your family.
